Session by Jerry Niebaum - Aug. 30, 2006

An Urban Legend is a story on the Internet that is widely circulated and may or may not be true.

Urban legend From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Urban legends are a kind of folklore consisting of stories often thought to be factual by those circulating them (see rumor). The term is often used with a meaning similar to the expression "apocryphal story." Urban legends are not necessarily untrue, but they are often false, distorted, exaggerated, or sensationalized.

Often these stories are attributed to well-known personalities, who may have nothing whatsoever to do with the story.
